Regenerating the code returns a "Welcome back! This is your previously assigned code." and the same code that was originally given.. When trying that code again, the same "This code is invalid." message is returned. :-\
Hi everyone. I came back to do this over the weekend and where there had previously been a hyperlink to click now it says: “Ok! — to redeem your discount, check your email for the newsletter with the link!” I can’t seem to locate the newsletter with the link. Can anyone help?
The link shows I am not found in the email subscribers list for Perplexity Pro. Does anyone know who to reach out to for assistance or how to get the code?
Nope. I’ve even emailed perplexity support and support@kevinrose.com as KR suggested in 1 reply, but nothing yet. Hopefully will hear something on Monday.
I can’t keep mashing keys trying to get this thing to work - need tech support here : not sure anything we can do if the code just doesn’t work?
I just tried to redeem my code just now assuming that the error would be resolved. However, its still showing the same error and I haven't heard back from my support email to KR. Hopefully tomorrow!
Yes thru the more manual sign up with an email. Honestly I think the early codes they gave out are just crock and need to be reissued. I just don’t understand how I can have a unique code (the usual jumble of letters and numbers) and it just not work at all - and reading through the 30+ comments I’m not alone.
I appreciate your help in trying to resolve this though.

Same, tried again, nothing from perplexity or KR support yet.
closing the loop - Perplexity support fixed manually this morning.
It worked for me, but I created a new Perplexity account because I use a different address for my subscription here:
- got a code through the link in the post
- create new Perplexity account by email
- login TO THE WEBSITE through the perplexity mail
- activate pro on the website redirects you to Stripe where you can enter the code. The app just prompted me to pay with Apple Pay.
- enter CC details for the auto-renewal on Nov 9 2025
- successful activation of Pro account
- close App, reload App = pro user
Nope still getting "This code is invalid". I use gmail address for Substack and for Perplexity.
I even tried deleting the Free perplexity account that uses the gmail address and setting it up again from scratch - still doesn't work?

Are you creating the account through Google Sign in or through Email with a Gmail address? I suggest using the latter.
